a few more days left of 2005 then is into the yr 2006. anything to look forward in 2006? i cant think of anything now...nothing significant is going to happen i supposed...hehe!

a summary of the events that happen to me this yr..
1. went holiday in hk with dear
2. tried to resign from my current job but in the end i am still here
3. work work and work
4. did a spa perm on my hair, everyone love it except for dear...
5. watch crazy horse - sat in VVIP seat which only cost me S$50!
6. learning roller blading and got myself a pair of blades and guards
7. recovered from my operation but left a scar
8. ....cant think of any already

so my resolution for this year?? to have more time for the people i love and to do the things i love!

xmas eve

yeah is xmas again...but i dont really feel the xmas mood. look more forward to the holidays instead because no need to work...haha!

last night has dinner with the gals. exchange pressie and got a handmade cross stitch pouch and miniature perfume from wynne, precious moments candies from denise, chocolate and a cute pair of crotchet earrings from jiahui, a beaded necklace from yoyo and of course a ipod nano arm band from dear dear. unfortunately i did not get anything for dear. cant think of something to surprise him with. i was quite surprise he got me that, never though he will think of getting that for me. maybe because i am into blading now, so he got me that then i can listen to the ipod nano while blading...so thoughful of him! Smucks!

the bad thing of all...i have to work on xmas eve which is TODAY! sigh. going to get out of office 1pm sharp! hehe! but i am not the worst. my colleagues will be spending their holidays on site as our company have 2 projects rushing to complete next week. god bless them!

crazy horse paris

last night, joined my bf and his friends to watch the crazy horse performance. because the project is by my bf's company, they are able to get the tickets at $50 each, sitting at VIP seats!! the stage is rather small and from the location we are sitting, we can see everything up close and personal. haha!

the performance is quite good but i keep looking at their bare chest, thinking whose is bigger and smaller because the gals were wearing nothing except for tiny G-strings! haha! other than the gals, there were also 3 handsome mediacorp actors in the house - tay ping hui, wang jian fu and adam chen. i think they are shooting for their program on chU - 男人帮. TPH definately looked better in person. hehe!

so much for the good things...the bad side? i was having blocked nose for the whole show, sniffing all the way. been having flu the whole week, seems like the medicine has not much effect on me. sigh!

another bad thing is...waiting for cab home after the show. it is so difficult to get a cab. most of them are on call, so i have to walk to the entrance of the clarke quay where there is a long queue. i only manage to hop onto a cab after 20 mins. sigh.

mistake!

sigh! i make a mistake at work. order the wrong size for the CK signage because my technical knowledge of metalwork is not there!! now have to reschedule the work and reorder the metal again. sigh sigh sigh. low morale now.

i really hate my dad to core!! he is so selfish! how can he just cancelled off all the giro for all the utilities bills?? how can he do this to us? does he still treat us as his family? is he really having affair outside and spending all his money on that woman rather than the family?

first lesson

yesterday was my first lesson for my roller blading. i think i have a long way to go by looking at my progress yesterday. i am still unable to take proper steps, always afraid of falling. hehe! guess i have to practice more at home on the steps so that i will get used to that momentum. i also had a fall yesterday and scratch my shoulder, all because i did not balance myself. haha! but like what people always say - no pain no gain. haha! right now body ache...

roller blading

this morning i went to learn roller blading with my sis and her friends and east coast! i cant believe that i can actually stand up and walk in the blades. haha! so in order for me to be able to blade like a pro, my sis and i decide to take up blading lessons. therefore for the next 3 sundays, we will be learning how to blade in east coast. wish us luck!!

back to work...

i am back from hong kong already. had a amazing time there - shopping, eating and sight seeing. the best place i like is disneyland and the fire works. that is the 2nd time i saw fire works so up close. the 1st time is in syndey new year eve.

no pictures to post at the moment because it is all with jackson. actually i did not really get alot of stuffs for myself. only manage to get 2 tops, 1 jacket, 3 skirts, 1 three quarters pants and 2 pairs of heels. quite little for a gal right? hehe! next time must go during the summer sales to get more bargain stuffs! hehe!

but time flies very fast. 1 week in hong kong passed very fast and i am back to work already. work as usual - busy. alot of projects going on but not enough coordinators because our project manager is out-stationed. sigh!

washed out

time...10.23pm...friday night...what am i doing? just going to get out of office! sigh! tired and hungry now. havnt had dinner yet. should i skip dinner and just head for my bed when i reach home? *yawn*

weekend free again

this weekend i will be free again. dear has left for hk this morning and will only be back on the 26th. which means i will only get to see him when we are going to hk on the 30th.

this sat is my off but dont know whether to come back to work or not. sigh...if i come back, that means my off is gone...sigh sigh...

stressed!

i feel so stressed at work these few days. have to coordinate work and also do quotations but all my time in the day is doing coordination of work - arranging subcon to do this and that and sorting out the detailling with them. so i am left with the night to do my quotations. but i havnt started yet!! sigh. feel like crying.

why this diesel shop is so rush?? why our project manager have to go bangkok at this time? now only left me to do all the things!! so stressed out. been working till 10plus these few nights, tonight is no exception.

also dont know whether all the fixtures can finish on time! we are always given short period to do renovation for the shop. everytime also rush and rush and rush!!

birkies

pre-order this pair of birkies a couple months back. will only be arriving next yr 2006 january. so still got 2 months of waiting. it is actually cheaper to get them online rather than shops in spore. one can save up to S$30 for 1 pair of birkies!

i already have a pair of english garden black madrid so i settle for this virgin whisper white florida. i like the contrast of the copper buckle against the white background. *love* hope it will arrive before CNY.

busy day at work

here i am yawning away at 7.10pm. feeling tired. been busy the whole day at work. calling people, doing coordination, quotations, invoicing etc. now waiting for my colleague to finish his quotation so that we can send over to the client. once again is a rush thingy. was given the drawings on wed and quotation need to be out by friday. that is why my colleague is rushing now. what about me? sort of "supervising" him because for this shop, the past outlet's quotes are done by me and so i need to check after he had finish. dear is still waiting for me for dinner. *yawn yawn*

K-drama fever

yeah i finally finished watching the korean drama titled "oh! 必胜，奉顺英". i enjoyed the show very much. i cried and i laughed so it is worth watching. last night, i even slept around 4am because i was hooked to it. hehe! today i watched the final 4 episodes but the ending was not what i had anticipated, abit disappointed. anyway it was a happy ending. :)

friday again...

yeah is friday already and tomorrow i am off! happy happy! because i can wake up late tomorrow morning! yippe!
time now is 6.10pm, getting prepared to go home already and going home to watch the korean series that my sis borrow from her colleague. quite a funny show. guess i will be watching that for this weekend since both bf and sis not in singapore.
dear should be on board the star cruise now. he has gone for his company trip for the weekend, so tomorrow i will be meeting up with my uni friends for lunch. going to eat korean food at outram. dont know which restaurant is that. sis will be flying off to bangkok tomorrow morning and will only be back on tue. nevermind i will be flying off to hk in 5 weeks time! yeah!!

flu again

i am down with flu again since sunday. last evening after work, i went to visit the doctor again. she gave me stronger medicine this time round. hopefully i can recover soon. *sneeze*

yeah! finally managed to book my HK package! so happy! will be flying off on 30th oct and coming back on 5th nov. the next thing to do is to book online for the disneyland tickets and to plan the itinerary. cant wait to go...

sick

been on mc the last 2 day, today then return to work. but still feeling abit weird. forehead feels abit feverish but cant eat the medicine that the doctor gave me, if not i will go straight to slumberland. what to do, have to continue to work...sigh

disappointing....

went to natas fair yesterday hoping to get a package to HK but in the end when we decide which tour agency to go for...no more air tickets already. only united airline is avaliable but have to fork out 70 bucks more. the period we are going to travel is actually the peak season and with the disneyland coming up, the prices have gone up too. guess i cant go hk already. i am actually looking forward to the trip because i can spend the whole week overseas and i only need to take 3 days leaves. my leaves are very pathetic, so if i were to go at another period, i will have to take more leaves meaning i have very little leaves left for raining days. dilemma now...dont know whether to keep searching for any air tickets or packages or just give up and not to go hk... :(

din blog for quite sometime coz i was quite tied up with work the past few weeks. rushing for tender and quotations. now trying to finalise the variation works for the completed jobs. so sleepy now because last night watch TV until 1am >> the new HK serial "i have a date with the vampire - part III" on channel 8. think tonight need to sleep early. *yawnz* 2 more hours till knock off time...

here i am in office do overtime. trying to rush my work because my colleague is on leave and left only me to do all the quotes and tenders. there is a list of things i am working on :-

sounds alot? that is why i am doing OT! poor me. havnt have my dinner yet. just drank a can of coke (i am a sinner!) and some biscuits (finish my last packet, need to replenish). going to wrap up soon because tomorrow i still need to work. hopefully i dont need to work so late so that i can go and enjoy my weekend!

human relationship

human relationships are such complex things. if it is not taken care properly, the relationship will turn sour. sigh. it is so tiring to manage human relationships. so many things to take note, especially when i am a stubborn/blur blur/carelessness person. i might end up hurting someone unintentionally.

things seems to be clearing up at home...but dont know it is for the good or for the worse. me just pray hard that dad knows what he is doing and not regret what he had done later.
this whole week, dear is outstationed in shanghai and will only be back on sunday. sigh. guess have to ask the gals out this saturday but seems like kinda 重色青友？hehe!

loneliness

loneliness is something i fear most. it made me feel sad. it made me feel restless. it made me helpless. it made me feel weak. it made feel vulnerable. i hate IT!

things are not getting better at home...all because of what dad had done on thursday night. he actually wanted to let his friend's friends (3 indonesia women) to stay over at our house for a few days and he brought them over without discussing with mum. of course when my mum know it, she strongly object. then dad's face become as black as 包青天! in the end he have no choice but to take the luguages away. how can dad agree to do such a thing without considering all the factors eg, safety of the people at home, what is the background of those women etc.? god know what will those women do when no one is at home? oh god. how can dad be so foolish in agreeing to such things? think he just want to be good in front of his friends. friends to him is always in the first position. whatever ask him to do, he will do it. sigh. trouble brewing at home already....

lust or love?

how do one differentiate between lust and love? i think lust is short and love is eternity. therefore my liking for pullip is lust and liking for blythe is love. but i cant help falling in love with this latte pullip...
isnt she lovely?? is there any kind soul out there who is willing to get her as a gift for me in order to curb my lust?? ;)

bored at home

what to do when i am bored at home?? i took out my dolls, dressed them up and took pictures of them! it is a great way to kill time. after taking the photos, i use photoshop to do some editing and the finished product looked like this... now is 5pm already...time to bath and eat dinner. this is my way of spending a boring sunday. tomorrow back to hectic work. :(

if i am getting XX amount of salary, does that means i have to do xx amount of work? if someone gets lower salary than me, does that means he/she do lesser work than me?

i have been sneezing and blowing out my nose the whole day. guess i have gotten a flu bug. feel like going home to rest but there is still work to be done in office. sigh...still have an estimate quote for bobbi brown which is due tomorrow but i have yet to type out the BQ. feel like doing it tomorrow but scared there will be other interruptions. *ah chew*

night safari

last night me and my friends went to the night safari for a visit. it was my 1st time there since it has been open. haha! guess it has been 10 over years i have ever stepped into singapore zoo. the last time i went to a zoo was in syndey. singapore zoo is better with more animals. anyway it was crowded in the night safari. there was a long queue for the tram, so in the end we walked for the 1st half of the journey, taking our time to look for the animals in the midst of the dark surroundings. the interesting part was the giant flying fox which is actually giant bats. hehe! we are able to walk through the enclosure and see the bats face to face. they are quite harmless unless they are being provoked. for the next part of the journey we took the tram. it was an interesting ride and the weather was cooling. all in all we took about 2 hours to walk/ride through the whole safari. S$24 was quite worth while. hehe! when we walked out of the gate...we told ourselves that we will only be visiting here in another 5 yrs time...haha!!

shopping

got myself a leather strap watch..finally!! loving it to bits...
but jackson mentioned he prefer the DKNY metal strap watch he got for me for bdae. but both got their 优点
went shopping with jiahui yesterday and bought more clothes for myself. i even pyscho jiahui into getting clothes for herself too.
this is my haul from yesterday. we chalked up too $200 worth of clothes and got ourselves a discount card from the shop. hehe! i was happy my haul but jiahui felt a big pinch in her pockets. the worst was she saw another shop selling the skirt she bought at a lower price. but the comfort was that it is in another colour. hehe! guess we can plan for another shopping trip next month...hehe!

donate??

the big story of the week is of course the court case between NKF and SPH. i was quite taken back by the salary that the CEO is getting >> $25k a month plus 10 to 12 months of bonuses which amounts to $600k a year!! the worst thing is that Mrs G mentioned that the amount of money is peanuts! is that what a normal CEO is supposed to earn in a year?? pardon me for my ignorant because i am just a white collar employee whose annual earning is the same as the NKF CEO's monthly salary! now i know where my monthly donations went to...so the question now is to continue to donate or not?? is NKF going to be transparent in showing how their funds are being used? how much do they really need? questions questions questions....

new earrings

made these lovely earrings couple of days ago. love them to bits! been busy with work these whole week because my colleague went on reservist and i have to handle all the quotations. the worst thing is that got tender came in. diesel @ forum shopping centre. i think i am kind of 'suay'. always have tender to rush whenever i am going to be on leave or when i am alone in the department. sigh! guess next week will be a busy week for me too. god bless me...

sewing my way

spend my late afternoon trying to sew some clothes for my dolls, but it was quite unsuccessful. guess my sewing skills have died on me. the last time i tried sewing was in my sec sch days home economics class. hehe! nevertheless, i took pictures of my gals. lorie is wearing the blue top i made which my sis commented it is ugly. it is really tough trying to sew. but i will still try if not the money i spent on getting the sewing machine is wasted.

disneyland!!

i just surf through the hongkong disneyland website. they are selling online tickets starting from 28th june! yeah! that means what my bf's mum heard was untrue. my bf's mum's friend told her that the tickets were completely sold out! when i heard that i was half hearted about going hongkong. but now i am excited and looking forward to go there. going to book the air tickets and disneyland tickets by end of july. below is a picture i got from the website. the night scene is so serene! hongkong here i come!!

finally i manage to get some clothes for myself...because it is always my sis buying clothes and when people ask where i get the clothes...i always say my sis bought it...so my resolution this year is to get clothes on my own so that in the near future when either one of us got married, i will have enough clothes to wear...below is my haul for the day...i also bought a slip-on to replace my VNC one which is now in the dustbin...

spageddies

went to spageddies for dinner last night. i wasnt satisfied with the food. i ordered fish and chicken combo but i regreted. i would rather eat KFC or long john silver. the last time i was there, the food was still okie. lucky i still have 10% off with my UOB credit card, at least got some discount off. guess this will be my last time there. i also brought my gal out. managed to take a few snap shots of her in the restaurant. however, bf had restrained me for taking her out because he find them like chucky, not cute at all....

'marriagable' age

so what is the best age to get married? i just gotten news from my bro that one of ours distant relative had proposed to his gf, but the thing is he is just 1 yr older than my bro. my bro is 23 this yr. they are going to ROM this november, think customary can wait. are they too young to get married? my bro thinks differently...he says is ROM only, still dont need to stay together, so dont need to worry so much. but what is the point of ROM and only doing the customary 2or 3 yr later? the feeling of newly wed will be gone...for me the time to get married is the time when both of you are financially stable to start a family. right?

batman begins

i just went to watch "batman begins" with bf. it is great show. it is interesting to know how batman become batman. but feel disappointed that rachel actually likes batman more than bruce. tears flowed down my face during the scene where bruce's parents were being murdered. dont know whether am i the only one that feel sad and cry. hehe! i also feel that christian bale looks abit like tom cruise and the irony is that their love interest is katie holmes. hehe! me abit of 38 there. me starting to yawn already. been a long day for today as i went back to work in the morning till 1pm. okay, me going to sleep. tomorrow will try to wake up early to do housework so that in the afternoon i can do up my dolls, going to have a gathering next sat. ;)

blue wednesday

why blue wednesday??
because the whole morning i was standing in my boss's room hearding him "preach"
"preaching" about what should i have done so that our chance of winning the court case is high...
well...i know partly is my fault too...
for overlooking in putting everything in black and white..
sigh...just have to meet the lawyer tomorrow and see how...
moral of story from this case....never to engage a subcontractor for a major project that one never deal with before...
tomorrow will be a busy day for me at work..
meeting with lawyer at 3pm and another client at 530pm...sigh....
