Food Talk #4

As usual, I woke up early this morning therefore while the little one was taking a nap, I went to the market to run some errands and also to get breakfast.

Back at home, I got a fusion breakfast. I had earl grey tea in my new Starbucks mug (a gift from max) and chinese fried "butterfly" and "hum jin pang". Yummy!

Mama Bdae

Last Sunday we celebrated my mama's bdae in Claypot Fun restaurant at Playground @ Big Splash. This restaurant was featured in 8-days magazine and it was packed. Lucky we reached around 6pm and managed to get a outdoor table (indoor tables are fully occupied).

As usual, Jerold is the centre of attraction.

We had their jumbo size claypot rice with mixed ingredients. Food was mediocre only. Light soya sauce was used in lieu of the usual dark soya sauce.

After the dinner, we retreated to Starbucks for some iced coffee.

Married!

My sister got MARRIED! I would say I am the "red thread" for she and her husband as I am the one who kind of got them together. Was happy that she found her special one to spend her rest of life with. So happy for her.

Was not able to help her with her preparations as I need to look after BB. Did not even got much chance to take photos with her.

Last but not least, CONGRATS!

Farm Mart

Went to the Farm Mart at Choa Chu Kang with my in-laws and SIL's family. It sells quite a fair bit of food ranging from eggs to hong kong pastries. We had lunch at a restaurant owned by the Chinese Medical Hall called 福华 but it sells western food. Food was cheap and good!
After lunch, we walked round the area, fed a goat, saw rabbits and frogs.

We also bought fresh seafood and FIL whipped up a feast for dinner. Yummy!

It been donkey years since the last time I took photos of my gals. Managed to brought 2 of them back from my mum's place and set up a new display corner for them in the bookshelf.

Here is Valerie having her bread with strawberry jam in the kitchen. Need to bring the another 3 gals back, together with the rest of my stuffs.

New Toy 2

Jerold now could hardly lie down still in his rocker, therefore we decided to lay the sponge mat and took out his new toy and let him play. This toy was given to him by his 堂姨 during his 满月 celebration. He seems to enjoy playing with the ball and when the ball is hit/throw into the net, music will be played.

Rock Rock

姨姨 (my sister) just finished her flat renovation and she invited us over for lunch last Sunday. Well the place is still abit messy as they only managed to clean up the place and have not put everything in place. They bought a red rocking "horse" which is supposed to be used as a chair for them to sit while wearing their shoe. However it turned out to be a fave among the children, as it is a rocking horse! See, Jerold is enjoying himself on it. Haha.

Looking forward to my sister's wedding this Sunday.

Bite Bite

His favourite mouth exercise at the moment, biting his rubber toy. Or else he will just put anything he would grab and put into his mouth including his ten fingers.

Happy 6 Months Old

to our little one, Jerold! These days he would turn himself over whenever he lie on his back. Sometimes in the middle of the night, we would find him lying on his stomach sleeping away. Of course his head is positioned in a way that his nose would not be blocked.

Nowadays he is quite handful too. MIL complaint that he would cry whenever he was left alone in his rocker and when MIL is out of sight. Then he would want her to carry him and walk around. Naughty little boy. Is this caused by us pampering him too much?
