240408 . Hubby's Bdae

Wanted to get PS3 as a pressie for hubby but he rejected it. Haha! So I decided to give him a treat. Since he like Japanese food most, I brought him to Kuriya at Shaw Centre for dinner. We ordered assorted sashimi, beef sashimi, nabeyaki udon for him and zaru soba for me. The sashimi is really very fresh and tasty, will make you want to eat more. Yummy! I highly recommend this restaurant if you like sashimi alot, even hubby says is good too. Thumbs up!

Of course this is my treat, so we called for the bill. Hubby waved his hand to the waitress.

Waitress : Yes?

Hubby : Can SHE have the bill?

Waitress : Yes. *giggle giggle*

Hubby always never fails to make me laugh at his silly jokes. Love ya! Smuck!

These two stickers are very pretty too! Especially the bottom one. Wanted to stick it onto the cabinet and the top sticker to paste onto my door.

Lucky...

we did not wait for the balloting result for the Bedok new flats. If we have waited, we will not have our own flat now.

We balloted in February and the results were only announced yesterday. Guess what is our queue number? Hahaha! is 541! I could not believe that we got such a "good" number despite that we have 4 more chances for being 1st timer, near to parents and after 4 times of futile ballots. For your info, we ballot for 5 rooms flat and there were only 95 units to choose from. Hubby says in the letter from HDB, they wrote that 800 applicants were 1st timers!

We really got no luck in getting new flats, only can get resale flats. Haha!

Breakfast....

breakfast

today is soya bean drink and red bean bun from Mr Bean. Actually I am a blurr queen. I did not realise that there are small shops outside Kallang MRT station until last week. Haha! I believe the shops have been there for a few months already.

Last week when I was walking to the station after work, I saw someone eating food from Old Chang Kee and was wondering where they got it from. Then I realised there are stalls at the other side of the MRT station. Haha! I always walk in the opposite direction, that why I never get to see the shops.
