boring month

I havnt been posting much this couple of months. Nothing interesting had happened and I was also busy with work. Too much work and too little time. Typical Singaporean's life where their life is all evolved around work. One spent a average of 12 hrs in office, so what happened to their personal life? So who is to blame for such work culture? Sigh!

The only thing I look forward to these days is weekend especially when Sat is my off day. Therefore this sat I am going to watch Pirates, Yippee!

NANA + superman

Yeah! dear bought me the NANA vcd! This is a jap movie adapted from Ai Yazawa's manga NANA. It is about a story of 2 girls who share the same name (Nana) but with different background, how they meet and become best friends.

I have following the manga for quite sometime already, however the story is only till the 15th book now and think there is still a long way to go. Hopefully it does not follow the footsteps of "Meteor Garden"! Haha!

Actually when I was in Hong Kong last November, I saw preview of the movie on TV. That is how I know they have a movie coming up. However it is not screened in Singapore, dont know why. Luckily there is vcd to compensate for that.

Last night or rather this morning 12am, I watched Superman with my sis and her friends after attending my colleague's wedding dinner. Speaking of the dinner, I was the first to arrive and end up I have to sit at the table alone for 10mins before another colleague arrive. Singaporean are always late especially for wedding dinner. The invite says 7.30pm sharp, I reached there at 7.45pm but the tables were only half filled. After 1 hour of waiting, the dinner started at 8.45pm.

Back to Superman, I am kind of disappointed with the story line. It is not as good as I have hoped. Felt that the story is a bit draggy and not that intensed. Superman still looks good and I think that is the only plus point and attraction of the whole movie. Brandon Routh sure has the making of Superman and at some point of time I see bits of Christopher Reeves in him. :)
