Pregnancy Week 19

Yippee is Friday again! And tomorrow I am going for detailed scanning of bb. Hopefully bb will be good and let Doctor see every part of the body.

Till now I still find it hard to believe that there is another small one growing inside me. Haha! Maybe it happened too fast, so right now I am slowly accepting and treasuring the little as my tummy becomes bigger. Hehe!

Actually the first trimester of my pregnancy was not very smooth sailing. I do not have much morning sickness, I only experienced slight nauseous during the day and occasionally I will throw up at night. Other than that I look like my usual self, just that I become more "fleshy". But I need to see the gynae every week as my amniotic water was low. Doctor was concerned about it as it may lead to some problems. Nothing can be done except to monitor closely and rest more. We were so scared that we went for second opinion. However, the answer is the same. Can only wait and see.

Luckily, after the first trimester the amniotic water returned to normal. I guess is the balanced diet and more sleep that helps. So now we are more relieved.

Now is the beginning of the 2nd trimester and my appetite grew even more. I would feel hungry 2-3 hrs after I have taken my breakfast and lunch. That is where the biscuits and milk come in to curb the growling sound in my stomach. Haha! Lucky for hubby, I do not have much pregnancy cravings and if I have, it can be put on hold until we got the time to go eat it. :)

Renovation Part 3

Actually there is nothing to update about the new flat renovation as most of the work had been completed except for the carpentry work. We are still waiting for the carpenter to come out with the cabinets drawings. They have yet to construct and hubby have been chasing me for it. But the carpenters are currently busy with my company's projects, so will have to wait. Hopefully we can get all these done by end of Dec.

However, during the weekend we manage to purchase some of the big item electric appliances. We got them from Harley Norman where there is sales going on and they gave us quite a good price. These are what we have gotten.

Madagascar : Escape 2 Africia

Went to watch the movie yesterday when hubby and I went to get his Sony Ericisson X1 phone at AMK hub.

The show is hilarious! Though it was short, it was enjoyable. I think bb enjoys it too. Haha!

Mr and Mrs Chan

Wednesday was my poly buddy and my hubby buddy big day! Yes yes, it was through them I got to know my hubby. They are also the first persons to be informed that we are together because they are our "mei ren". Haha!

I was supposed to be part of the jie mei entourage, due to me being preggie I can't be part of the them. Can only helped them to think of ways to sabo the guys. My MIL even reminded me that I can't even go up to their bridal suite due to some superstitious stuff. So I have to linger around the reception to wait for the lovely bride to come down.

Dinner was great and I was laughing away when viewing the video of the morning session. It was truly very funny when saboing the guys. Too bad I missed it.

Hi Tea Buffet

Celebrated my mama's bdae at 老北京 to have hi tea buffet. Saw the recommendation from the Channel 8 TV program. But it wasn't as good as it was told. Nevertheless, we still stuffed ourselves with the food (especially me!). Haha!

Did not manage to take any photos of the food until we are finished. I like the DIY popiah best. The rest of the food was so so only.

New Member

Let's welcome the new comer in our family! *Applause* The scan was taken 1 week back and now he/she is 14 weeks old. It was a really surprised surprise as hubby and me only got married in mid of May. Haha! That explains for the bloated stomach and tiredness I got recently.

Hopefully by the next appointment we will be able to know whether it is a bb boy or gal. Love you, bb.

New Snack

Bought these from NTUC on Monday. It is bite size biscuits but more crispy like crackers. Since I can't eat crackers, so I got them to satisfy my cravings and also as snack in between meals. Haha! There is even a healthy sign on the bottom of the package noting that it is oven toasted. Yummy!

Renovation Part 2

We are now into end of the 6th week of renovation. Most of the works had been done. What is outstanding are :-

• Installation of light fittings,powerpoint and switches
• Design and construction of carpentry works
• Finding bedroom ceiling lights
• Laminated flooring for bedrooms

Random Thoughts

Life had been quite a routine for me these few weeks. Weekdays will be working and going home for dinner and sleep. Weekends were spent sourcing for sanitary wares and lightings for our new flat.

Come to think of it, it been a rather long time I met up with my friends. Luckily I managed to meet up with a couple of them last Sat. Had lunch at NYDC cafe wheelock place, followed by some shopping.

These days, I have been feeling more tired than usually and usually will be in dreamland before 11.30pm. No more late nights for me. So will try to off work early so that will have ample time to rest.

Is Thursday already, 1 more day to weekend. Yeah this Sat is my off day! Got doc appointment on Sat morning and thereafter meeting with contractor at new flat to discuss some construction stuffs.

a new serial by Raine Yang. Very hilarious, my cup of tea. Haha! In the show, Raine speaks with a very funny accent as she is suppose to be a gal that is more out-going, talkative etc, not those 淑女 type. She enlist help from Wilbur to transform her into a 淑女 so that she is able to look good in front of primary school friend.
