Food Talk #3

My first meal of the day consisting of white bread with ham, cheese an chips and a cup of lipton tea. I shall cook myself some eggs next weekend instead of the usual bread and cereals.

When I was in secondary school, I don't take breakfast as it always give me tummyache. However when I started working, it has become a important meal for me. I can don't eat dinner but not breakfast. Hehe.

1st Haircut

His hair is growing quite unevenly with some bald patches, therefore Ma-ma (grandma) decided to shave off his hair so that it can grow out evenly. This morning, MIL's friend came over and cut his hair. Jerold is such a brave boy. He did not cry at all, only made some funny noise. Within 10mins, tata, it was done. With the spikey short short hair, my little boy is still a handsome boy! Haha!

Took video for the 1st few mins as daddy was not able to be around to withness the all process. Daddy was suspected of having HINI, therefore he was quarantined at our flat since Thursday. So this video is for him to view. Enjoy!

New Toy

Well it is not exactly new toy as it came with the rocker. When Jerold started using the rocker, we put on this bar with dangling stuffs. But he doesn't like it. Recently he started to be interested in grabbing things, so I put the bar into the rocker and he liked it. However the playing lasted for less than 15mins and he cried as he is not able to get the dangling stuffs into his mouth! Haha.

Happy Boy

Now I am reading this book called "Bright From The Start". In the book, it tells us how to develop and train a child's brain from 0 - 3 years old. In one of the chapter, it says "You are your child's first toy". This is very true.

As a infant, they can't play with toys so adults are their first toy as we are the ones to make them laugh and play with them. Haha. Jerold loves to play peek-a-boo with me. He will laugh himself silly and gets hicups. Loves watching him laugh.

Cereal Trial

I am on leave today as MIL need to go for check up in the afternoon. While she was out, she went to get cereal for the little boy. So when she is back, we made a teaspoon of the cereal to try out.

OMG! Jerold loves the cereal! He would open his mouth when the spoon goes near him. Haha. He really enjoyed his food.

On the another hand, he seems to be rejecting his milk. Today when I fed him milk, he was crying and making a din, refusing to drink much. I had to hoax him, hold his hand and play with him in order to make finish his milk.

So he like food more than milk?

Baby Bumbo

Yiyi bought this bumbo chair for him. It enables him to sit up straight. However, he keep leaning forward and trying to grab his feet. Did not let him sit for a long period as he keep wanting to get out of it. Hopefully he can sit for a slightly longer timed while MIL is feeding him. MIL is going to get him started on solids. She would go and buy some cereals for him to try. Guess he will like the cereals. These days he will look at us when we are eating. It seems like he is trying to tell us he wants to eat too. Haha.

Happy 5 months old!

Time really flies very fast. From a little infant to now a little guy that laugh at silly things and cries when he wants attention, all these transformations seems to happen so fast.

For now, he is now going to start on solid food. Just now MIL gave him a few scraps of banana and he seems to enjoy eating it.

MIL also told me that he is growing his 1st tooth. When I touch his lower gum, I could feel a hard edge popping out of the gum. Wow it is so amazing! This might be the reason why he keep sucking on his fingers. Well you can see the evidence on the left.
