Operation

Right now I am waiting in the hospital for Jerold to finish his operation. It would be finished in another half hour time. He had a hernia problem in his left groin area which means there is a hole in the wall of his abdomen and it causes the intestines to fall through that hole.

We discovered on Wednesday when we saw there is a swelling on his left groin area. Went to consult a GP and infant doctor and confirm is a hernia. So bb is now inside having the hole closed up.

He was crying badly while waiting to go into the operating theatre as he need to fast for 6 hours. Seeing him like that, my heartache. Me being a silly mum cried even though it is just a minor operation and bb will be fine after it. I just feel bad for him having to go through all these pain when he is barely 2 months old.

Update @ 4pm : Jerold is back home now, sleeping after his milk feed. When he came out of the operating theatre, his lips turned slight black from crying too much. At that moment, my heart went all soft and tears kept flowing down my cheeks. He continued crying on and off for about half an hour then we fed him with little milk as he was very hungry. After the milk feed, he calmed down and slept with occasional crying.
