Welcome to the family little Edred! Little Edred arrived to this world on 9 May 2011 and he was 3.88kg! What a big baby! He is my sister's first born and also my first nephew.

Looking at this photo made me remember that the little one also like to sleep in this position. I guess it is their way of telling us that they are enjoying their sleep.

2nd birthday celebration No. 2

The little one had his 2nd birthday celebration with my family at Changi Airport Terminal 3. We had dinner at Earle Swensens and later retreated to Ya-Kun to cut his birthday cake.

2nd Birthday Celebration No. 1

Since the little one's 2nd birthday falls on a Sunday, we bought him a birthday cake to celebrate together with his 表姐, 爷爷 and 奶奶 on Friday. So after work, I rushed down to Secret Recipe and got him a banana chocolate.

1st YOG

We joined in the heat for the first YOG by witnessing the YOG torch relay. For the first day of the relay, it journeyed through Ang Mo Kio and luckly our estate was part of the route.

A week before the relay, we received the pamplet stating the time and the exact route. The time was from 4.30pm to 5.15pm. We went down slightly before 4.30pm and to our dismay, we had to wait till 5.30pm before the whole team arrived. Nevertheless, the whole event was very joyous and everyone were cheering on for the torch bearer.

Birthday 2010 - 080610

So what can 2 ladies and a toddler do on their birthday? We went out shopping! In the morning we head out to Marina Square and met another friend for lunch. Hubby came and look for us during his lunch break.

Coincidentally there was a Doraemon exhibition at the central stage. The little one was happily running around, touching the photos on the wall.

Next, we (a team of 3 gals and a toddler) headed down to Orchard ION for some shopping therapy. The little one was a good boy because he did not make a fuss while sitting down in his stroller. Guess he was busy observing the surrounding and people around him.

Our friend left us for another appointment around 3pm. Then we went to the bakery shop 'Provence' for tea (for us) and milk (for the little one) break.

I lover their breads! Both sis and I had their cinnamon bun and drinks. The bun is good! After the break, we continued with our shopping.

Around 5plus pm, the little one had another break. He had some biscuits and water before we continued shopping. Shopping was fruitless. Did not managed to buy much. I only got a pair of heels and a top.

Next we retreated to PS Cafe at Palsis Renaissance for dinner together with our hubbies. Their food is good too!

We were seated in the outdoor area. Luckily the weather was breezy and there were sufficient fans around.

The birthday gals and their boy / man.

Our food - mine was catch of the day (grilled fish). Sis had grilled steak and BIL had St Louis pork ribs. Hubby had beef steak burger.

Reached home closed to 10pm and the little one was ushered to dreamland. A tiring but happy day.

June Babies

Most of my close friends' birthday fall on the same month as me which is June. Therefore in view of the upcoming birthdays and Jina is back in town for a short holiday, we decided to have a early celebration. As usual the gals came over to my place for lunch and a quick catch up.

Another Episode of Cheeky Boy

Photos taken at the wedding dinner we went last night at Shangri-la hotel. Look how the little one reacts when his 大表姐 wanted to take photos with him. Cheeky little boy! He never fails to cheer us up with his cheeky smile.

Two Years

Our 2nd year wedding anniversary...I totally forgotten about it until I saw hubby's message to me on Facebook. Anyway, we did not planned anything special. Hubby and the little one came and pick me up from my office and we went to have their haircut in the afternoon. Thereafter we went to Bugis for a walk and have dinner at MOF.

[our food - the little one and I shared the egg and beef bento as hubby did not pack his milk powder and bottles out. He thought I have already pack everything into the bag]

[hubby commented that the chicken in this new restaurant is good! When we walked out it, there is a long long queue. Must find a time to come and have a bite]
Happy 2nd Anniversary Hubby!

1st Birthday Party

Celebrated the little one's 1 year old birthday yesterday. Had a small but cozy party at home with all the family members and close friends. The little one was very happy....with people feeding him with food. Haha!

It is delicious despite all the creme. It doesn't taste too oily and one will not get sick of eating it.

Happy 1 year old!

My little boy has grown up! Looking back, it doesn't seems like 17 months have passed by from the time I got pregnant to when I was in the delivery room till now. Starting to miss the feeling of carrying the little one in my arms. Haha.

Happy 1 year old my little one! Later we will be having a mini party for you, enjoy!

Woof Woof

Went to my 阿姨 house at Bukit Batok on 初二. She has a dog called Miki. Miki is a friendly dog that does not bark a lot and she will run to whoever is eating, very greedy. Haha.

* photos couresty of Maxime

The little one is very curious about Miki. He would go near her and try to touch her face. He doesn't seem to be afraid of her. He is not afraid of dog but is afraid of car wash. So funny.

Seeing Red

All the CNY goodies packed in containers with red covers.

Oranges in red basket. The basket was bought during my wedding's Guo Da Li. Now can recycle to use to display the oranges.

Red wheel spring ornament which I bought in Sydney when I was there for study.

The only things that are not red are my new shoes. All flats, no heels because they are not child friendly.

First Day of CNY

Our house visiting day started at 11am, first stop is my Parents-on-law place. Well that is the only time I flashed out the camera. The rest of the day, my hands and eyes are mainly fixed to the little one or rather the little one is fixed to me. Haha.

Our family photo. Not very well taken. Wanted to take another nicer one but no chance to do that.

Daddy and the little one. Don't they look alike?

My PILs and the little one.

The little one is wearing the chinese suit bought by Popo (my mum). The 2nd and 3rd day of CNY were also spent house visiting, so tiring. Everyday we would reach home around 10pm, change the little one, feed him milk and he would go straight to dreamland.

Early Reunion Dinner

Since both my sister and I are married and we can't have our reunion with my mum on the CNY eve, we decided to have it tonight. And my mum doesn't want to cook, so we had our reunion dinner at Sichuan Douhua Restaurant at OUB Plaza, 60th storey.

There is my little one making funny faces while eating his porridge. He is so cheeky.

Overview from the 60th storey.

1st dish - Yusheng. They have a special ingredient which is dried fish skin, very crunchy.

Their specialty green tea.

The main dish, Peng Cai consisting of dried oysters, prawns, chinese sausages, fish balls, sea cucumbers etc.

Pi Pa doufu with vegetables.

Last of all, dessert which is Thousand Layers Nian Gao. Something special. We were too engrossed in the food that we had forgotten to take a family photo. Will make up for it during CNY.
