It was hubby's bdae last Friday. Cannot celebrate with him as I am on confinement. So I got my SIL to get him a cake. This is also the first time BB Jerold celebrate his daddy's bdae. Next time will be mummy's turn. Haha. I wouldn't get his bdae present in time too as BB Jerold had decided to come out earlier. Poor daddy. Never mind we will make up to him next year.

Many Faces

At the request of my sis, there is more photos of Jerold with his eyes open.

We have decided on his chinese name. Therefore last Saturday we went to do his birth certificate. He is now officially called Keung Deng Hang, Jerold (姜定衡). I guess he will have a hard learning to write his chinese name. Haha.

What I eat?

During confinement, there is alot of dos and don'ts. Whatever you eat will usually comes with ginger. Therefore my meals are usually consisting of meat and vegetables cooked with ginger. It was said that ginger is able to expel the air from the tummy.

All my meals are being cooked by my MIL. She really took very good care of me. I was even forbidded to wash the dishes as not to touch the water. She would cooked herbal water every morning, so that I can use that water to wash/clean myself.

The only thing I cannot tolerate is not washing my hair. I have to wait till tomorrow then I can give my hair a good wash and massage. Haha.

Fave Position

This is his favourite sleeping position. Look how he soundly he sleep with his hands up. He will usually try to wiggle out his hands if we bind him up with cloth. Haha!

It is quite tiring to wake up in the middle of the night to feed him. It is even worse when he decide to poo poo or wet himself and I have to change his clothes and diapers. Can't image how it will be like when I get back to work. But I guess all will be worthwhile when I see his little angel face. :)

1st Bath at Home

He wasn't too happy with bathing. Cried the moment his body touches the water. Stopped his crying once he is out of water. Haha!

Enjoyed looking at him especially his eyes.

Update :: Finally decided on his english name. He is now officially called Jerold Keung. His chinese name will be decided soon. Hubby is now on the way to the chinese guy who is a expert in naming baby names to get the list of names for Jerold.

030409 - Welcome to the World

My first child! He was born last Friday when I found out my water bag burst in the morning. He was born at 2119hrs as my cervix was not able to dilate and had to do a C-Section.

Welcome to the world BB boy. Still thinking of his name. But most likely will be along the pronunciation of "Gerald". He has double eye-lids! According to hubby and my mum, he had his eyes opened wide when he was been pushed out of the operating theatre. So proud of him. :)

I Want to Complain!

That I am so stressed with my workload at the moment! With less than 3 weeks to my delivery date, right now I am loaded with tonnes of work to do. Rushing for a huge tender which is closing this Friday and I am not even halfway done. Feeling quite helpless with this tender as this is the first time I am quoting for a food court and this food court got so much weird stuffs!

Other than this tender, I still have 2 more shops to quote! Why does all the work come together at the same time? Why I cant just relax and have a normal workload while awaiting for my delivery date to come? Why I have to bring work home to do every day and weekend? So tiring. I hate this tender! Taking up so much of my time! Sucks!

Fusion Food

Last Saturday, hubby and me brought my mama to this Japanese and Thai fusion food restaurant at East Coast Park. It is just situated next to MacDonald's. Though the place is small but it is cozy and the food is great!

We had the Mango Prawn roll and Nori Chicken. They were delicious especially with their sauces. I had Thai Red Curry Beef Laska. Yummy too! Will definitely go back there to try their other dishes.

Pregnancy Week 34 - Big?

Hmmm...alot of people commented that my tummy is not that big, does not look like I am into the 3rd trimester. Well, I did question myself on that issue, wondering is bb really ok or growing healthy. However, after a check with my gynae, she reassured me that bb is growing very well and he is now approximately 2kg! I felt more relieved now.

Now counting down to the birth of bb, less than 6 weeks to go. Most of bb's stuffs been bought or taken/rent from friends and relatives, only left my own stuffs to be purchased and packed into a bag.

Oh one more thing to do....that is to decide on his name. Have not really found a ideal one which both hubby and me liked. Actually I quite like "Jarrell" while hubby likes "Keith", but "Keith" make me think of the shoe shop "Charles & Keith". Lets see if there is other names that is to liking for both of us.

Where is FORK?

Saw this car in front of ours while on the way to work. Was asking Husband why the car owner wants to stick that wording on the car. He replied that the word is a name of a certain car company or something like that. On the every same day, on the way home, we saw the same word on the same car model but it was red in colour. Haha.
