Someone actually asked me whether am I a china gal *faint*. There is how it happens...

Yesterday, me and jackson went to have lunch at bedok KFC. So after the meal, I wanted to go toilet and while I was queueing up...

KFC auntie (auntie) : 小姐，等一下让我进去先。里面没有toilet paper 了。
me : 好。
auntie : (looking at me) 你好美哟！你是新加坡人还是中国人？
me : *shunned* 我是新加坡人。
auntie : 好美哟！白白嫩嫩。

*sob sob* Do I look like a china gal??? Why does the auntie has the perception that fair ladies are china gals? Anyway I am also not that fair mah. My sis is even more fairer than me leh.

When I told this to jackson, he just laughed. Hmmmmm...maybe we should go suntan these days since the weather is good.

Clients sometimes are really demanding! Expect you to finish the tender in such a short timeline. I only got the drawings yesterday and the tender is closing on next Tue 2pm! That means I only have 2 and half working days to do and sunday I don't work.

Do they include saturday and sunday as full working day? They are also employees and yet they just expect us to finish the work not caring whether is weekend so whatever so. Unreasonable clients! Other than their work, I also have other things and quotations to do leh! We have other clients too!

Sigh! What to do...they are the clients...we are the contractors. I can only rest my grievances here. :(

Tailor Gibson

After 1 year of forcing myself to stop getting anymore blythe dolls, I finally have to surrender...because I couldnt help but to fall in love with this new gal...Tailor Gibson.

Re-ment

Re-ment has just came out with a strawberry theme miniatures! So cute!!


Hopefully I will remember to get them. They will look very nice in my blythe doll "house". ;)

CNY 2007

HAPPY PIGGY YEAR! There is a picture of my blythe family after they have been dressed up. Havn't been playing with them for months...hehe! Lazy me!


Woke up around 9plus this morning and got ready around 12plus to start the day of house visiting. Took the following photos with my gal cousins using one of my guy cousin's sony ericsson K810i hp.



Had a great time today, catching up with everyone. Well the common questions from the elders to me is - "when is your big day huh?" Haha! I just reply them that it is still planning stage, havn't decide on the big date yet. Guess me and jackson are plain lazy to do the planning. Hehe! Have to enjoy taking ang bao now because maybe next year might be the last year I am able to get. ;)

Yes! I am a happy gal right now. Why? Because I finally own a ds lite! Yippe! I can finally strike it off my wishlist now.


Another reason I am happy is because it is a pressie from jackson...thanks Dear! Smuck Smuck! Ok, I am going to enjoy my pinky now. ;)

Walk-In-Selection

Supposingly today is the day for our turn to select for the flats for the latest WIS but last night when I went to check for the availability of the flats we like, just as I expected, those we like have all been selected. Sigh!

The moment we got our queue no, we know the chances of selecting our ideal flat is very very slow. Why? Because our queue no is 756!! Why? Because people started queueing up 2 days before and the news of the WIS was only announced on the actual day which is last Fri.

Last Fri, while I was going to work, I saw the HDB advertisement in the train station stating that the WIS is starting on that day. That was 8am. Immediately, I told jackson and he went down to HDB hub to take the queue number. He managed to get the number around 8.40am and our queue number is already 756! WT*&%#@??!! He already reached there so early and yet our number is so far.

How do those people get to know about the news? They have insider info? In the newspaper article, those people told the journalist that they saw the news in the HDB website. WT*&%#@??!! I only gotten the email alert from HDB on that actual day 6am, how is it possible that they saw the news on the webbie??!!

So demoralising...wasted our $10 bucks.... :(

DP superstar + CNY

Hey, dear got 2nd place for DP superstar contest during his company annual D&D. So proud of him. Hehe! He sang 张学友's 当我想起你 in all three rendition in mandarin, cantonese and english. Because of this contest, we have been to Kbox to practice for the past couple of weekends and also burning a hole in his pocket. Singing karaoke during weekends is not cheap at all. We have to pay $60++ for 2 person but we have unlimited singing hours. Hehe!

In contrast to the Project Superstar, DP superstar is also about popularity of the person as the contestants with the most votes will win and the votes were sent through sms. Even though I was not present at the dinner, I managed to get to know the voting number and voted 20 times for him. But...dear gave me the wrong numer...aiyah...if not he might get 1st because the difference between him and the first is 7 votes. But nevermind, he has gotten himself a $1200 taka voucher.

CNY is just round the corner and my company had just announced they are shutting down on the 16th! Yeah! And will reopen on the 26th! Which means I have 9 days of non-working days! Yippe! The bad side is 4 days of my leaves will be deducted. ;)

Prima Dollies 2

cockroach + taiwanese drama

Last night was really drama, both me and my mum were trying to catch a flying cockroach in the living room. Stupid cockroach keep flying around and we were trying to get it to rest on some flat surface, so that we can hit it with the newspaper. Haha! At some point, me and my mum were laughing away, because we were afraid of the flying cockroach, hoping it will not fly into our direction and on another hand, we were trying hard to capture it. Haha!

Finally, it flew and landed on the sofa. I quickly gave it a good smack with the newspaper and at last it is dead. Hehe! Yippe!

These days, me and my sis had been engrossed in watching taiwanese dramas and we totally hooked onto them. First it was 恶作剧之吻 and now is 花樣少年少女. Both shows are adapted from japanese manga and they are super funny! Must see shows!



We even downloaded the OST for the shows. Silly us. Fancy going gaga over 偶像剧 at this age. Haha!
